The Flame: Celebrating World Aids Day

The Flame is a unique edutainment and cultural event framing the international World Aids Day 2011. Showcasing young and ambitious Zimbabwean visual artists, their work on how to re-think life, behaviour and attitudes towards HIV and related topics, it is an exhibition and an exceptional collaboration between some of the most talented local musicians, poets, performers and an international musicians/DJ.

Live Vibe: The Smoke That Thunders

Live Vibe is an original concept which started in the UK but is now a global show. It showcases local dance talent in an inspirational, interactive atmosphere and, with the support of trained mentors, helps them take their craft to the next level.
Originally created by Hakeem “Mr Impact” Onibudo this show features 6 of Zimbabwe’s hottest Hip Hop Dance troupes. D-Chronic, Eschusia, Unit Edge, Break Equation, G-Steppaz and Royal Crew.

Launch of EUNIC Partnership in Zimbabwe

The British Council along with the Alliance Francaise and Goethe-Zentrum Harare/ Zimbabwe-German Society officially launched a EUNIC cluster in Zimbabwe on the 5th of October 2011 in Harare.
