European languages introduce themselves and encourage to learn more about Europe's linguistic diversity!Good news for all present and future polyglots: on November 23rd the 3rd European Language Day will be organized by Hanoi's EUNIC cluster members British Council, Goethe-Institut, the Embassy of Poland, the Delegation Wallonie-Brussels and the Italian Embassy. EUNIC is aiming to introduce the diversity of the national languages in Europe, promote multilingualism and discuss patterns of Training of Teachers of a Foreign Language. In the morning linguists, scientists and teachers shall meet . In the afternoon from 2 p.m. onwards the floor is open to the public and a language festival is going to happen.
"Europe meets Asia in Contemporary Dance" - The Dance Festival is taking place for the third time and is already a major event in the cultural calendar of Hanoi. Received by both media and the public with enthusiasm and applause, this festival has successfully contributed to a growing awareness of contemporary dance in Hanoi since 2011. "Europe meets Asia in Contemporary Dance" is an initiative of EUNIC, the Network of European cultural institutes and embassies in Hanoi, in cooperation with the Vietnam National Opera and Ballet (VNBO) and this year will be coordinated by the Goethe Institute.
5th European-Vietnamese Documentary Film Festival by EUNIC in Vietnam 5-14 June in Hanoi and 10-29 in Ho Chi Minh City
Following the success of the preceding festivals, the European-Vietnamese Documentary Film Festival celebrates its 5th anniversary. Eight European countries (Belgium, Germany, Sweden, France, Poland, Spain, Switzerland and UK) in association with the National Documentary and Scientific Film Studio of Vietnam will again present the 5th International Documentary Film Festival in Vietnam, from 5th-14th June in Hanoi and from 10th-29th June in Ho Chi Minh City.
For the third time, EUNIC, the association of European Cultural Institutes and Embassies, presents literature from Europe in Hanoi. Books from Denmark, France, Germany, Great Britain, Italy, Spain, Switzerland, Wallonia-Brussels (Belgium) and Poland, which have recently been published in Vietnamese translation, will be presented in an entertaining way.
Good news for all present and future polyglots: On October 27th the “2nd European language Day” will be once more organized by the EUNIC in Vietnam, to introduce the diversity of their national languages, promote multilingualism and address the benefits of Early Foreign Language Learning.
European Literature Days were organised on 11 and 12 May in the National Library of Vietnam where new books from seven European countries offering reading pleasure for all ages were presented.

Two European dance companies and a choreographer will highlight the first festival of contemporary dance in Vietnam (8 and 9 September 2011 in Hanoi). Artists from Wallonie-Brussels and Italy will perform their own creations, while a German choreograph stages a premiere with Vietnamese dancers.
Classics from Italy, novels from Germany, children's books from Belgium, France and Denmark make reading a pleasure at the European Literature Days (27-28 May) at the Institut Francais – L‘ Espace and the Goethe-Institut.
The January-February 2011 issue of the Vietnam Airlines Heritage magazine features a two-page interview with Franck Pezza, head of the newly formed Vietnam cluster.
"We want Vietnamese artists to have exchanges with European artists and will invite them to join European artists in the performances that we organize", says Pezza.
