Exhibition „Childhood. Remains and heritage” by EUNIC in Rome, 7 - 28 November

This exhibition embodies the project of the same name that has been financed as part of the Cultura 2007-2013 programme. The final goal is the idea of constructing a Virtual Museum of Childhood.
The project is thus made up of a patchwork of heirlooms still imprinted on the collective mind, composed of particles of rural and urban culture, of magical/religious beliefs and practices with a scent of Orthodoxy alongside rituals of Catholic origin and urban “superstitions” that are in fact nothing less than remnants of ancient beliefs whose meaning has been lost.

One Europe. Many languages. New opportunities

EUNIC in Rome organized on 19 October 2011 a day entirely dedicated to multilinguism in Europe: “Un’Europa. Molte lingue. Nuove Opportunità” (One Europe. Many languages. New opportunities). Within Europe’s linguistic area there are 23 official and more than 60 different minority languages.
