"Robotville" Would you play with a pet robot?

1st to 4th of December 2011: RobotvilleEU @ Science Museum - Could a robot talk to you and share your feelings? Fancy meeting your robot self face to face? The Robotville Festival will celebrate the most cutting-edge in European robot design and innovation. Visitors will be able to meet over 20 unique robots, many of which have just come out of European research labs and will be on show to the British public for the first time.
 

"Active Witness" An exhibition of photography to celebrate the European Year of Volunteering

This event took place at the Europe House  from 20 July to 9 September 2011. It brought together 27 works by photographers representing 27 participating countries, whose work either engages directly with the voluntary sector, or with closely related social issues.

EUNIC London is delighted to announce the second edition of the CD Seminar at Europe House, organised in collaboration with the European Commission Representation in the UK.

The Guardian finds real interest in Celluloid Curtain festival

"During the cold war, the spy movie genre became an obsession on both sides of the divide, with the same recurring themes either side of the iron curtain: the secrets and intrigue of the cold war, the futuristic new style of the space age, the exciting possibilities of high technology, and the even more exciting possibilities of the sexual revolution", writes The Guardian on a EUNIC in London and Berlin joint programme: The Celluloid Curtain.

May Fayre with European Menu in London

Regent's Park will remember this full-fledged EU May Fayre on the 7 and 8 May. Music, entertainment and food from Flanders and six other European countries drew a massive audience at York Gate.
The main attraction of the event was a Spiegeltent, a mirror tent built in Flanders around 1920, surrounded by food stalls and children’s animation, located.
The event marked the end of the Spanish, Belgian and Hungarian EU Trio Presidency and Europe Day on 9 May.

European Literature Night Back at British Library in London

The annual European Literature Night is back for its third year at the British Library, on 11 may 2010 starting from 6.30 pm, taking over the capital cities of Europe for a whole evening in a marathon celebration of the best of European literature.

DancEUnion: great dance talent from accross Europe in London

21 rising stars of the European dance scene came together for the DancEUnion (15-17 March) festival at the Southbank Centre  in London. Further to the success of its first edition, DancEUnion returned to Southbank Centre with three special mix bills.
