Regional EUNIC literature festival in Zagreb

 
The regional multimedia literature festival “KROKODIL”, is considered to be an important stage for cultural exchange among young south-east European authors.
Following EUNIC Croatia’s invitation, this year’s festival took place in downtown Zagreb on June 13th, showcasing three well known regional authors (Zoran Ferić from Croatia, Damir Avdić from Bosnia-Herzegovina and Sreten Ugričić from Serbia) as well as selected authors from EUNIC member countries: Thomas Glavinic (Austria), Jörg Albrecht and Daniela Seel (Germany) and Andres Barba (Spain).

All the readings were held in the authors’ native languages, accompanied by subtitles and were visualized by a video projection, specially produced for the festival.
The Italian Folk/Punk/Jazz band “Arbe Garbe” from Italy contributed to the festival with an associated music program.
