European Day of Languages by EUNIC in Uzbekistan, 26 September
For the second year, the institutes of the EUNIC Cluster in Uzbekistan have joined their forces to offer an audience of teachers and students to celebrate the European Day of Languages on the 26th of September.
Many events took place: training workshops for teachers dedicated to ICT (Information Technology and Communication for Education), minute courses in English, French, Italian, Spanish and German, presentation stands of European countries, a quiz, buffet...
At the end of the day, the winners of the quiz that took place during free sessions in one of the institutes were announced. Finally, to end the day with a happy note, the congregation sang the famous nursery rhyme "Frère Jacques" in canon and in 4 languages (English, French, German and Italian). The day was opened by the ambassadors of the EU Delegation from France, Germany and Britain.

European Café
Quiz: Throughout the event, the guests have the possibility to answer a questionnaire about European languages and win presents (language courses, T-Shirts, books…).
Final song “Frère Jaques” in each language (French, German and English).
