The cluster in Stuttgart will celebrate Europe with a debate on Literature in Europe, hosted by the Hungarian Cultural Institute on 5 May. The German writer and journalist Lerke von Saalfeld will be the moderator.
French novelist Martin Page (who explores the relationship between the great city and its outskirts), Germany-based Italian writer and translator Cesare de Marchi, Hungarian essayist and translator László F. Földényi and Germany’s own Ingo Schulze will investigate the connection between Europeanness and fiction writing, the major problems of our continent reflected in literature and the role of the writer as a citizen of Europe.
