EuroFilmClub has as its main objective the promotion of European cinema. In monthly-scheduled screenings and thematic cycles such as Music, Life after '89 or Love each EUNIC member presents a film from their country.
 
This year we gained a very important partner - very popular cinema Lumiere, belonging to Slovak Film Institute, where the films are screened.

CULTURE|FUTURES at RIO+20

In the framework of the Culture|Futures network many EUNIC members have been organising over last couple of years various conferences on culture and sustainability together with cultural institutions and municipalities. The last occasion was the event in Budapest on 24 January 2012 organised by the EU Commission and cultural institutions from Hungary and Romania. 

European Film Festival in Almaty - EUNIC in Kazakhstan

 
Between 13-19 May EUNIC Almaty will organise European Film Festival in the Caesar cinema, jointly with Oleg Boretskiy’s Cinema Club with the support of Almaty Akimat as part of the Year of Culture. During the Festival eight countries will present the following films:

Climate|Culture|Change - screenings and discussions in Dublin

Designed to challenge, illuminate and inspire, the series presents a panorama of interconnections, from the causes of climate change to the roles of individuals and societies in addressing the issues. The films and speakers in Climate. Culture. Change are from six European countries giving an international perspective on the issues around climate change. Cultivate’s Davie Philip will facilitate the discussion after each screening with film makers, activists and scientists.

Festival Images & Vie, 12ème édition: Journée du cinéma européen et Table ronde
