Welcome to the page of the EUNIC cluster in Hungary. EUNIC in Hungary was founded in 2007 and now operates with 16 members and 3 associated members. EUNIC means cooperation and partnership, international dialogue, culture as engine of the European integration.

2012: Year of EU-China Intercultural Dialogue Conference by EUNIC in Hungary, 6 November
In the context of 2012: Year of EU-China Intercultural Dialogue, EUNIC in Hungary and the European Commission representation Hungary are organizing a conference on the cultural, social and economic perspectives of EU-China relations. International and Hungarian experts will present and discuss latest trends.
European Languages Cocktail Bar - 2012 edition by EUNIC in Hungary at the 26th September
The European Languages Cocktail Bar 2012 edition will be held on 26th September in Akvárium, Budapest. We will open the doors to our visitors at 15:30. At the entrance, they will all receive a passport that will give them access to a cocktail and that they should complete by visiting the booth of at least six institutes to participate to our big raffle. Many prices will be given out including several language courses offered by the institutes! A unique opportunity to learn English, French, Polish, Czech or… even sign language!
We will also organize a giant scrabble! People will pick up letters to write the word they want in the language they want. The aim is to create a scrabble where the words of many countries mix up together.

The Danish EU Presidency presents the rock band Thee Attacks on board of A38 ship in Budapest, as part of the Nordic Polar Beat program. The successful band plays in the Rolling Stones style in a contemporary way.

Spotlights on Europe at Budapest Spring Festival
Performance, theatre readings, Italian songs and an European jazzy travel highlight the programme of the Europe on stage day (2 April) within the Budapest Spring Festival (18 March-3 April), the city's largest annual cultural event. EUNIC President Horia Roman Patapievici attended a debate over "Theatre or reality show? Theatre and television responsibility in the era of internet".
EUNIC in Hungary partnered on this occasion the University of Theatre and Film Budapest.
