EUNIC Jordan is organising on the 11th of May a hunt for creativity in various locations around Jebal Weibdeh. School groups and members of the public will be set challenges and ‘hunt’ for creativity around Jebal Weibdeh, an area which is considered to be the hub of creativity in Jordan. Each location will have a challenge which teams need to solve in order to unlock the next clue. Hamzet Wasel supports the event. It will take place during 3-7pm.
On the 7th of May at the Ministry of Culture Theatre, Jebal al Weibdeh in Amman, you have the opportunity to join a one-day workshop with Scarlattine Teatro from Italy. You can learn new ways of creativity at theatercombining animation and new technologies. See use of comics projected live for a theater performance developing a funny, original and highly visual technique. The event is intended for young actors and university drama students.

The event will take place at the outdoor theater of Al Hussein Park on Friday, 10th of May at 7.30pm. The entrance is free and open to everyone.
For Europe Day, 9th of May, EUNIC Jordan organises an event with the Italian Botega Dance Company and the Zakharef Dance Collaborative. Hip Hop and contemporary dance are weaved together in this exciting performance of world-renowned Italian dancers. There will also be a performance of the outcome of the residency – Jordanian and Italian dancers will perform side-by-side. This performance is part of the Zakharef in Motion festival and will take place at the Al Hussein Cultural Centre, Ras al Ain at 7.30pm.
A couple named only Hercules and Cassandra live in a cookie-cutter house and when they go on a little holiday to the sea, magical things happen. The actors interact with a live hand-drawn background and the adventure unfolds. Scarlattine Teatro will perform ‘Manolibera’ at the National Center for Culture and Arts in Amman when the audience will be brought into the adventures of two real-life characters that perform their funny and poetic stories on a screen that has turned into a big sketch pad.

The 5th of May the different cultural centers of EUNIC Brussels will be present from 12 to 18 hours at “le Village Européen” (Carrefour de l’Europe, Bruxelles) due to the Fête de l’Iris. Under the project ‘Sursum Linguae’ for the promotion of European languages multiple ludic activities and language workshops will be organized. Hope to see you there!
During the last weeks, the EUNIC family welcomed two new clusters! One in Montevideo (Uruguay) and another one in Tel Aviv (Israel). The cluster in Montevideo has already 4 full members and 2 associated, whereas the one in Israel gathered 11 full members and 3 associated. On the one hand, EUNIC is strengthening its position in the MENA region, which is central at the moment, as EUNIC is conducting one of its flagship projects in this area. Now, almost every MENA country hosts a EUNIC cluster. On the other hand, the cluster in Montevideo constitutes an important asset in South-America, as EUNIC is planning to expand its presence in this region.
Do you want to discover Europe's literary landscape? During an evening, new and exciting authors from nine different countries will present their latest works. Participants from France, Italy, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Germany and Austria will fill the event with exciting readings and discussions. This event is introduced for the first time in Sweden by EUNIC in Stockholm, a concept that was started in 2005 in Prague and since then has been successfully implemented in 22 countries!
