Brasília hosted the 8th EUROPEAN WEEK
From May 5th to 20th, Brasília hosted an extensive cultural, sportive and gastronomic program organized by EUNIC in Brazil and the European Union’s member countries, which every year promote the EUROPEAN WEEK.
CULTURE|FUTURES at RIO+20
In the framework of the Culture|Futures network many EUNIC members have been organising over last couple of years various conferences on culture and sustainability together with cultural institutions and municipalities. The last occasion was the event in Budapest on 24 January 2012 organised by the EU Commission and cultural institutions from Hungary and Romania.
Young innovative European musicians charm Brasilia
EUNIC in Brazil together with SESC and the University of Brasília (UnB) presents in Brasília AMEO – the Andromeda Mega Express Orchestra. It consists of 18 young musicians with entirely different musical roots. These young talents come from many different countries: Germany, Austria, France, Switzerland, Canada, Norway and the Czech Republic.
Culture for an Ecological Age in São Paulo
The international conference Culture|Futures: Transitions to an Ecological Era takes place in São Paulo on 30 May. Cultural personalities, politicians and experts aim to generate a behaviour change and environmental awareness through culture, stimulating a transition to an ecological age.

Unity in diversity is EU's motto , and diversity will prove its extent all along the European week 2011 in Brasilia.
Thousand years of European Way in a photo exhibition
EUNIC in Brazil celebrates The European Way with a photo exhibition on the Way of St. James (from 9 August to 3 December at Goethe-Zentrum Brasilia). The pictures were taken by amateur and professional photographers in various places along the routes in Austria, Germany, Great Britain, Poland and Spain.
Brasilia races for Europe trips
The European week 2010 kicked off on 6 May in Brasilia. The event is celebrating its 6th edition and aims at promoting European cultures in Brazil, uniting different cultural expressions to celebrate Europe Day.
