MUSIC and DESIGN aka. M.A.D. by EUNIC in China
EUNIC Cluster China proudly presents Music and Design aka M.A.D series of events. Starting off with abstract jazz, Mongolian music artists via « Indie disco answer to Adele » and ending with music instruments curved out of a cucumber, M.A.D abbreviation is more than justified and truly deserves its name.
Reading somewhere else. Literary walks. EUNIC in Warsaw
The third edition of "Reading somewhere else 2012" took place on April the 21st and 22nd in Warsaw in the district Saska Kepa. The project inspired by the European Literature Night, was organized by the cultural institutes who are members of the EUNIC Warsaw Cluster and Association Studio Teatralne Koło, supported by 40 local partners.
14 actresses and actors read excerpts from 26 new European books at 25 unique locations as private flats and gardens, galleries, cafes and an old photographic studio.
EUNIC Cluster India: Short overview over the past projects
EUNIC India Cluster is quite young, nevertheless managed to get a few events off the ground during the past few years.

EUNIC film festival
The festival (presented in a few cities of India) has been a reflection of EUNIC’s efforts to create effective partnerships and networks between the participating organizations.
EUNIC Beijing Design Week
EUNIC Cluster in China is organizing Beijing Design Week from 30 September to 6 October 2012 under the topic “Current Developments in Visual Media-Facade-Design in Europe and China/Asia”. The week will be launched on 30th September from 10am to 2pm in CMoDA Cinema together with Chinese partners– CmoDA and China Millennium Monument / Museum of Digital Arts.
Conflict resolution through cultural and civil society initiatives? Roundtable discussion
At the invitation of the Institute for Foreign Cultural Relations (ifa) and the European Union National Institutes for Culture (EUNIC), 80 experts from the fields of conflict transformation, cultural affairs, civil society and EU foreign and security affairs met for a roundtable discussion in Brussels on December 7, 2011.
Le Dialogue culturel EUNIC-Chine
Le Dialogue culturel Chine-EUNIC réunit des intellectuels, des praticiens de la culture et des décideurs en matière de politique culturelle venus d’Europe et de Chine en vue de renforcer la coopération culturelle dans le secteur des industries créatives et de développer des relations directes entre les acteurs intéressés.
La quatrième édition du Dialogue culturel Chine-EUNIC
L’organisation d’un Dialogue culturel Chine-EUNIC remonte à 2008, année de la toute première manifestation de ce type à Pékin. Les conférences suivantes ont eu lieu en 2009 et 2010, respectivement à Copenhague et à Shanghai. La quatrième édition s’est déroulée du 26 au 28 octobre 2011 à Luxembourg.
L’Année du dialogue interculturel UE-Chine : les activités d’EUNIC en Chine
Dans le cadre de l’Année du dialogue interculturel UE-Chine, le pôle EUNIC de Chine organisera également diverses manifestations au cours du second semestre de 2012.
4th Cultural Dialogue China-EUNIC
The tradition of organizing of an initiative called « Cultural Dialogue China EUNIC » reaches back to the year 2008, when the very first of the meetings took place in Beijing, China. Two other conferences followed in 2009 and 2010, in Copenhagen and Shanghai respectively. The 4th edition of the Dialogue was held in Luxembourg between the 26th and the 28th of October 2011.
EU-China Year of Intercultural Dialogue: EUNIC in China activities
In the framework of the EU-China Year of International Dialogue, EUNIC cluster in China is organising a broad range of activities also in the second half of 2012.
Among others, EU – China Rountable on Digital Publishing will take place on 30 August in Beijing. At this international conference the e-books and digital rights will be discussed.
In September you can be looking forward to 2 big conferences: "How to curate an International Festival of the Performing Arts" on 26 September and "Current Development on Visual Media-Facade-Design in Europe and China/Asia" on 30 September.
