EUNIC at the International Conference in Beijing China, 15-16 December 2011
On the occasion of its 60th anniversary, Chinese National Academy of Arts (CNAA), which is EUNIC partner in the Europe-China cultural dialogue for more than 4 years, has invited three EUNIC representatives: Finn Andersen, one of the initiators of the dialogue with Hans Georg Knopp, Guy Dockendorf, organizer of the fourth Europe-China cultural dialogue session in Luxembourg in October 2011, and Charles-Etienne Lagasse, 2nd Vice President of EUNIC.

Washington DC, 7 December - The Washington DC cluster or the European Union National Institutes for Culture (EUNIC) was officially launched by the Ambassador João Vale de Almeida, Head of the Delegation of the European Union to the United States on December 7th at the Delegation of the European Union.
Eurochannel screening at the West End cinema in Washington
On November 15, ninety-five people attended the film screening that presented the best of European creative short stories. The audience was very receptive to the moving, hilarious and poignant short films from United Kingdom, Greece and Slovenia among others.

From 1-15 September 2011 a European Street Art Festival supported by EUNIC Croatia took place in Dugave, a district in the ouskirts of Novi-Zagreb.
EUNIC Members join forces to stage Mini-INPUT in Sarajevo
Mini-Input Bosnia and Herzegovina will take place from 17 to 19 November 2011 at the Art House Cinema Kriterion Sarajevo. 4 Productions from the previous INPUT Conference will be screened and discussed. INPUT representatives from Switzerland, Germany, France, the United Kingdom, Slovenia, Sweden (among others) will moderate the sessions which are all based on the sessions that was held in Seoul.
"Robotville" Would you play with a pet robot?
1st to 4th of December 2011: RobotvilleEU @ Science Museum - Could a robot talk to you and share your feelings? Fancy meeting your robot self face to face? The Robotville Festival will celebrate the most cutting-edge in European robot design and innovation. Visitors will be able to meet over 20 unique robots, many of which have just come out of European research labs and will be on show to the British public for the first time.
EUNIC in Serbia at the International Book Fair in Belgrade
EUNIC in Serbia was present at the 56th International Book Fair in Belgrade, which took place from 23rd to 30th of October this year. It was represented by four cultural institutions of the European Union in Belgrade: the Austrian Cultural Forum, the French Institute, the Goethe Institute and the Cervantes Institute.
"Active Witness" An exhibition of photography to celebrate the European Year of Volunteering
This event took place at the Europe House from 20 July to 9 September 2011. It brought together 27 works by photographers representing 27 participating countries, whose work either engages directly with the voluntary sector, or with closely related social issues.
